CONGRATUALTIONS

to all the Deadly Sista Girlz who participated in this year CITY TO SURF.

The day started off with a 7am light breakfast, discussion about C2S with Vicki and all the ladies. After that the DSG walked to the Yellow group start line. Yellow runners commenced their race at 9:05am.

It was overcast which was a blessing in disguise for our ladies. All the ladies set off in their own paces with the 14km run/walk ahead of them aswell as heartbreak hill.

The start was located at Hyde Park at the intersection of Park and College Streets in Sydney’s CBD before heading up William Street and through the tunnel at Kings Cross. The course continues along New South Head Road through Rose Bay, then up RSVP “Heartbreak Hill” (the halfway point) and also the toughest part of the course.

The course then turns the corner at Dover Heights into Old South Head Rd, left into Military Rd and then down the hill to the finish at Australia’s most famous and spectacular Bondi Beach. The City2Surf finish line is located on Queen Elizabeth Drive at the southern end of Bondi Pavilion.
